This policy explains what information Linkturf, operated by Mining Wells LLC ("we"), collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum we need to run the service, we do not sell personal information, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.
What we collect
- Account information. Your email, name, and billing details. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we never store full card numbers.
- Your links and domains. The short links you create and the domains you connect.
- Click events. When someone clicks a link you created, we record the event (time, approximate location, device type, referrer) so we can show you analytics. This data belongs to your account. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to build audience profiles.
- Contact messages. If you contact us, we store the email address and anything you include so we can reply.
- Basic technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to run and secure the site.
Site analytics. On our marketing pages we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors find and use the site. Clarity also records anonymized session activity such as clicks and scrolling to build heatmaps. These tools set their own cookies and may capture your IP address and device details. They help us improve the site; we do not use them to sell your data. Because we serve US customers only, we do not load these analytics for visitors in the EU, UK, or EEA, so no non-essential cookies are set on them. You can also opt out with any standard cookie or script blocker.
How we use information
- To provide and improve the service.
- To email you about your account, your signup, or important changes. You can opt out of anything that is not essential.
- To prevent abuse, including screening connected domains against abuse blocklists.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information or your click data.
- We never share your analytics with advertisers or data brokers.
- We never use your audience data to market to your customers.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run Linkturf, such as hosting, payment processing, and the site analytics named above (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). They process data only on our instructions or their own published terms, and only to provide their service.
Data retention and deletion
We keep contact information until you ask us to remove it. Account data is kept while your account is active. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it by reaching out through the contact page.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including California and the EU), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, use the contact page. We respond to every request.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and note the new date above. If you have an account, we will also email you.
